Phnom Penh International Airport is located East of the historic city center of the Cambodian capital materialized by the Independence Monument. The Independence Monument is about 11km from the public entrance of the terminal and depending on the time of day and traffic, it takes between 20 and 30 minutes to cover this distance. The airport area including runways, technical areas, passenger and freight terminals as well as the military base of the Air Force, extends over nearly 3.8km² for a total perimeter of 10km. Many hotels are available just minutes from the airport. Several means of transport are available to you to connect the airport, the city center and the rest of the country.
